You can rest assured that we will never add any ingredients that will be toxic or allergenic. NO gluten, MSG, nitrates, processed sugars or artificial sweeteners or any other questionable ingredients! Honey & Stevia may be used at some point in certian products, but will be clearly labeled.
The jury is out on using nitrates to cure meats. Nitrates are naturally found in many vegetables but the there are also studies that prove that some versions to be highly toxic and carcinogenic. Until we have no doubts our minds, we NOT be using nitrates in Cool Springs products.
